We were instructed by Raglan Housing Association to advise on the provision of affordable housing on this site, comprising the historic Grade II listed former Huntley & Palmer Building together with the adjoining residential development site. The building had been vacant for many years and posed significant development problems including heavy contamination of the town centre canalside site from the adjoining gasworks site. We advised the Association in negotiations with the Council for the acquisition of the site and their funders in respect of finance of the completed affordable housing scheme. |
