Following a formal tender process we were instructed to carry out a detailed assessment of occupancy levels and work patterns at Marsh's 5 Central London buildings prior to the major relocation to Tower Place.

The objective of the project was to identify whether flexible layouts could be adopted at Marsh's new Tower Place Headquarters to improve the environment for key workers and the use of space.

The findings highlighted the work patterns of brokers and other 'transient' staff as ideal for the adoption of new space-efficient layouts utilising new furniture. The new designs increased the number of staff in occupation by 25% over the standard furniture footprint.

Following the success of the Central London project, we were instructed to carry out further strategic space analysis at Marsh's premises at East India Dock, Norwich, Witham & Milton Keynes.
