GL Hearn Manchester Masterplanning team deliver a 25-year masterplan for Revoe, Blackpool, on behalf of Blackpool Council and Revoelution

GL Hearn has created a 25-year vision for the Revoe area of Blackpool, to improve the neighbourhood and rejuvenate areas including Central Drive and Library Square.

GL Hearn has successfully delivered a much-anticipated regeneration strategy for the Revoe area of Blackpool following appointment in December 2019 by Blackpool Council and Revoelution. Masterplanners from GL Hearn’s specialist Land Planning team have worked in close partnership with the local community to devise a 25-year vision for the future of Revoe intended improve the neighbourhood and rejuvenate the local centre.    

Revoelution, a residents' committee formed to drive regeneration in Revoe through government funding, supported the creation of the masterplan, engaging with local community groups and residents to create a vision for the future of the area to ensure it remains a desirable and attractive place to live.

GL Hearn has worked with key stakeholders to ensure the vision for Revoe is fully aligned to that of Blackpool’s wider town centre and seafront development programme and tackles specific challenges including perceptions, placemaking, and housing.

This masterplan aims to build on the momentum that will be created by future catalyst projects and establish long-term principles for Revoe.
