James Smith

James is our National Head of Valuation and advises on all aspects of capital markets including valuation, investment and corporate activity. He has been a property professional for over 30 years and during that time, has built up considerable experience in both valuing and advising on all types of commercial, residential and institutional investment and development property across the UK.

James and his team value property for the main UK clearing banks, challenger banks, building societies and a range of foreign banks, corporates, property companies, local authorities and other statutory bodies, as well as high net-worth private investors and developers.

James has expert knowledge in valuing a wide variety of properties for the following purposes:
