Kevin Swayne

Kevin has been involved in Business Rates valuation and appeal work for nearly 30 years in both the public and private sector. He has an in-depth knowledge of the sector and relevant legislation, and has delivered considerable savings to clients.

Before joining GL Hearn in July 2015, Kevin worked for a local surveying practice in Southampton, specialising in rating appeals and mitigation work.

Prior to that, he spent 24 years at the Valuation Office Agency as a Senior Valuer working in various locations including Southampton, Basingstoke and Central London. As well as being a senior caseworker, Kevin was lead valuer for office hereditaments and was responsible for the Revaluation and maintenance of this class of property over 4 Rating Lists.

Kevin is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a full member of the Rating Surveyors Association. 

Geographically, he covers Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight, Wiltshire and Berkshire
