Victoria Williams

Victoria is a Business Rates Director located within our Manchester Office providing advice on business rates matters for clients across England and Wales occupying retail warehouse and food store properties. Victoria currently has responsibility for retail warehouse properties in the North West and North East of England.

Victoria has over 13 years’ private practice experience within the retail and food store market having initially acted on behalf of retail tenants for Landlord and Tenant matters when joining GL Hearn in 2007. Having later moved into the Business Rates team, Victoria has undertaken appeal work in the 2005, 2010 and 2017 Rating Lists negotiating the settlement of appeals on behalf a number of clients including Next, New Look, Asda, Dunelm Mill, River Island, Decathlon and Boots. Victoria has been central in coordinating and agreeing appeals for retail warehouse occupiers on a number of prominent retail parks across England and Wales.

Victoria is the account manager for a number of key clients, including Argos, Matalan, Pets at Home and Timpson providing advice and strategy for business rates liabilities across their portfolios.
