We have made substantial investment in a bespoke, web-enabled, continually developing software package to manage the payment of Business Rates. This system is a comprehensive package integrating both our Business Rates Payment Management and Appeals work (please note that Business Rates Payment Management can be provided as a stand-alone service). GLHIMS is versatile, it can:
- Work out the correct liability for the current and previous billing years, and provide estimates for future years in the List;
- Calculate the impact of exemptions/reliefs and Transitional Certificates;
- Calculate and log expected refunds;
- Provide an audit trail of our work and interaction with Billing Authorities for individual properties;
- Produce budgets for liabilities for future years;
- Integrate Business Rates Payment Management with Appeal work;
- Provide bespoke reports;
- Allow 24-hour client access to secure web-enabled server.
