Anthony Waller

Anthony is a Business Rates Director based in our London office, primarily covering London and the home counties. He provides strategic and valuation advice to clients across a range of sectors.

Prior to joining GL Hearn, Anthony was a Director at Aitchison Raffety specialising in hotel, public house and industrial valuations across the UK. Successes include significant reductions for industrial occupiers in Dartford. He was a key contributor in negotiating a revised 2017 List for hotels in London.

Having worked for the Valuation Office Agency between 2003 and 2017, Anthony has a wealth of valuation and management experience. Key projects include the initial assessment of Westfield Stratford and the 2017 revaluation. With a stint at HMRC solicitors, he has a great depth of knowledge of case law and has provided expert advice for clients at Valuation Tribunal.

Anthony is passionate about supporting and developing colleagues. He is an APC assessor and takes a keen role in supporting APC candidates. He is vice-president of the 1921 Surveyors Club based in Bedford.
