*Our secret? Great clients. Great work. Great People. Repeat.

GL Hearn is celebrating its 95 years anniversary.

The firm's history began in 1923 when the founder, George Leonard Hearn, set up in private practice as a Rating Surveyor specialising in advising rating authorities and carrying out the complete valuation of all the properties within their boundaries. His first office was at 84 Leadenhall Street, in the City of London.

Since then the company has evolved to offer clients in the public and private sector significantly wider service working on some of the highest profile  projects in the UK from Strategic Housing and Employment Land Market Assessments for the Liverpool City Region to the redevelopment of New Covent Garden Market site in Vauxhall Nine Elms and the valuation of the Queen Elizabeth Park in London to name but three. We are still market leading in Business Rates. Our commercially driven advice for developers, investors, public sector bodies and occupiers is more valued now than it has ever been.

We are very proud of the work we do for our clients and the range of industry sectors we serve including Housing, and Retail, Defence, Corporate Occupier and Health.

We also recognise none of this would be possible without the great people who work for us. So please do take a moment to see how our talented professionals might be able to help your business in the coming months and years ahead.

From development consultancy specialists, Planners, Valuers, Strategic Communications, Corporate Occupier experts and of course some of the best Rating Surveyors in the industry.

All of our colleagues past and present have helped make GL Hearn grow into the successful business it has become today and we thank them alongside our clients for the part played in our great heritage.

Do contact us with your Real Estate needs – you will receive a warm welcome and we will put you in touch with some of the most experienced property professionals in the UK.
