A team of some of the most experienced development specialists at GL Hearn will be attending The London Real Estate Forum, London’s premier real estate event, which is being held on 10th and 11th June. The firm will also be hosting a roundtable discussion on the 11th to explore the role of Estate Renewal in addressing London’s housing crisis.

The London Real Estate Forum has firmly established itself as the premier event for leading players involved in London's property and investment sector since its launch in 2013. Last year over 1,500 decision makers attended the exhibition and conference for two days of discussion, debate and deals.

Many of London’s leading developers are exhibiting and the two day event promises to provide insight into the latest thinking from those steering development and investment decisions across the capital.

GL Hearn’s roundtable discussion will give participants a unique opportunity to discuss the importance of Estate Renewal and how it can help to create additional housing stock. Other sessions will include keynote presentations from business leaders, panel discussions investigating drivers of change in key development areas, and presentations on individual sites from their development directors.

Shaun Andrews GL Hearn’s Head of London Strategy says:

“With London’s population growing at its fastest since the 1930s, a new approach is required to meet the Mayor of London’s challenging targets for house building. For a start, we need to look at ways of making better use of public sector land, and also forging closer partnerships between the public and private sectors. Estate Renewal can achieve both of these goals, and is therefore firmly at the core of GL Hearn’s London strategy. We are looking forward to exploring these issues and more at our roundtable event on 11th June.”
