Property consultancy GL Hearn in partnership with the British Property Federation has launched the third Annual Planning Survey.

The survey, believed to be the largest of its kind, invites public and private sector planning specialists, to relay their views on the various aspects of the planning system in the UK.

Now in its third successive year, the survey is open to all involved in the planning process including GL Hearn’s clients, until 25th July 2014.

The results of the survey together with GL Hearn’s research into Major Applications in London Boroughs will be presented at the Royal Society of Arts in London at a breakfast seminar on 8th October 2014. Additionally, a review and analysis of three years’ worth of data will be published to coincide with the presentation of the results.

Shaun Andrews, Head of Investor and Development Planning at GL Hearn said:

“The remarkable pace of development in the property industry is creating unprecedented levels of interest in the planning process. “The annual planning survey also provides an indication of how changes introduced with the NPPF are playing out in both the public and private sector.”

Results from the 2014 Annual Planning survey will be announced at the Royal Society of Arts.
