Our Occupier Advisory Team advised Telereal Trillium on the sale of its residential development site in Lytham St. Annes in Lancashire to Morris Homes Ltd.

The 11-acre site on Shepherd Road was the final parcel of land to be sold by Telereal Trillium on the former Department for Work and Pensions site following its previous sale of an adjoining 18.3 acre plot in 2013, which has subsequently been transformed into a major new residential community for the area, encompassing the development of a Booths supermarket, care home and bistro pub.

The development will now be taken forward by Cheshire-based Morris Homes who have submitted a Reserved Matters application for 146 new homes following the approval of the outline planning application submitted by Telereal Trillium. The scheme will deliver a range of homes from 1 bedroomed apartments, 2 and 3 bedroom mews and townhouses as well as 3 and 4 bedroom detached. In line with the outlined planning application, the scheme will also provide 15% affordable housing and additional Public Open Space which will provide a link from Shepherd Road to the facilities on Heyhouses Lane.
