Responding to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

At GL Hearn, the wellbeing of clients, colleagues and the communities we work in is our number one priority, and never more so than at a time of unprecedented uncertainty such as we are experiencing right now with the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Despite the uncertainty, our business operations, and our colleagues, are resilient. As government advice continues to evolve, our efforts remain focused on implementing the robust business continuity plans we already have in place. At the same time, we are continuing to step through our policies and procedures on a daily basis, in order to ensure that we can be agile in response to the needs of our colleagues and our clients over the coming weeks.

Our commitment to our clients remains unchanged – to provide best-in-class consultancy advice. We are working together as a business to provide a consistent level of service, working with clients to ensure safe working practices and protect the health and well-being of people at all times.

Our colleagues

Our colleagues are set-up to work from home and will continue to do so in line with government social distancing guidance. Any vulnerable colleagues are also being supported to work remotely as necessary. Where colleagues are working from home, we are supporting them with their remote working needs and their physical and emotional well-being.

Our offices

In line with government guidance, all of our colleagues are now working from home and practicing social distancing measures. Where we have some colleagues travelling into our offices for essential reasons, we have implemented measures to minimise social contact and enhance our daily approach to cleanliness.

We are supporting colleagues to work remotely where they choose to, and we are not hosting any face to face client meetings in our offices for the benefit of everybody. We do have teleconference facilities and Microsoft Teams to help us stay connected and our Business Support team will be rearranging any diarised face to face meetings as necessary.
