With a great deal of experience acting on a vast array of projects with a wide range of clients, we have a solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements that need to be met in order to formulate and follow through on your successful commercial plans.

Working closely with our Corporate Occupier and Investment, and Residential and Local Authority Advisory teams, we harness this knowledge to assist you in your decision making.

We can assist you no matter what your goals, and our wide-ranging experience includes:

  • Providing strategic advice on the promotion of sites for commercial uses through the planning system
  • Negotiating planning permissions for large and small commercial and mixed use schemes
  • Acting on several of the UK’s key regeneration projects, securing permissions for many developers and investors within the UK’s city centres and a variety of other locations
  • Acting for several leading retailers that include superstores (such as Tesco), retail parks and shopping centres
  • Advising major funds, landowners and investors in a variety of sectors on ways to enhance and protect their property portfolios

With heavy involvement in advising government, and with active team members in organisations including Revo, Accessible Retail, London First, NLA and the British Property Federation, we are thought leaders in commercial planning, and we can bring our in-depth knowledge and insight to you to ensure we meet your needs.

In recent years, our team has driven the business’ primary research into the UK’s planning system which has become widely recognised within the planning industry. A copy of the latest report can be found here.
