Our Major Projects Team specialises in Community Infrastructure projects, primarily in the Health, Education, Defence, Life Sciences and Governmental sectors, typically with an individual Capital Value in excess of £100 million. Our clients are a combination of private sector investors and developers, and private and public sector service providers and end users.

The team is currently advising on over 600,000sqm (6 million sq. ft) of new development in London’s Central Activities Zone, and major projects nationally, including Cambridge, Winchester and Surrey. The team has been very successful, with projects winning awards including ‘Top 10 Infrastructure Project in the World’, ‘Best New Hospital in the World’, ‘Major Building Project of The Year’ and ‘People’s Choice Building Award’

Core services

• Consenting – planning approval for schemes on programme to release funding capital, and project management of condition discharges and variations to complete construction on time
• Heritage – we are very experienced at securing consents affecting Scheduled Ancient Monuments, Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas, Archaeology and Ecclesiastical Consents 
• Tall Buildings - we are similar experienced with consenting development within protected vistas of the London View Management Framework and development constrained by St. Paul’s Heights regulations
• Bid Support - we join private sector consortiums at bid stage to identify planning opportunities and threats to programme and funding.  We also assist the public sector in bringing projects to market in the best way to attract competitive bidding
• In-House Advisor – As well as traditional consultancy, we provide an in-house planning director and planning project role, for either the private sector SPV or and/or the public sector end user
