Ben Stalham

Ben is Head of Major Projects at GL Hearn. He is an acknowledged expert and has worked on a variety of award winning projects on landmark sites, securing detailed consents for over 500,000 sq. m of new build development across the UK, including high profile schemes in Central London and Cambridge.

Ben has almost 20 years’ experience working on landmark projects for private and public sector clients. He has delivered major projects in all the Central London boroughs as well as Cambridge, Winchester, Glasgow and Stockholm. He is very experienced at dealing with major development proposals concerning conservation areas, listed buildings, scheduled ancient monuments, archaeology, and protected vistas.

He has successfully secured consents for over 3,000,000 sq. ft. (300,000 sq. m) of a new build development at landmark sites in London, including the only permanent permission for a helipad in the central activities zone. Ben has advised on over £4bn of new build development in the UK and Europe.

His projects have won numerous awards over the years, including ‘Best New Hospital in the World’, ‘Top 10 Infrastructure Project in the World’, ‘Major Building Project of The Year’ and ‘People’s Choice Award’.
