Chris Hare

Chris has specialised in the valuation for rating purposes throughout the majority of his career. Chris re-joined GL Hearn through the acquisition of the specialist business rates practice of Philip Long & Co in 2012.

His experience is primarily on large retail space, both in town and out of town, including offices and industrial properties.

Chris has been heavily involved at Rating Surveyor Association co-ordination level, having chaired committees at Meadowhall, Lakeside, Bromley & Kingston upon Thames, amongst others. There was also a leading role in the negotiations that secured pre, and post opening, impact allowances in west London for the opening of Westfield London in October 2008, and Westfield Stratford City in 2011.
