David Maxwell

David is experienced in the strategic promotion of land for residential and mixed-use developments as well as securing planning permissions for a range of land uses including major residential developments.

David leads on a range of strategic planning matters, promoting land to local plans and area action plans, including participating in examinations in public. David has experience in successfully promoting large scale residential and mixed-use development through the local plan process and as part of major planning applications. 

Notable achievements include: promotion of land at Andrewsfield airfield as the West of Braintree Garden Community for 10,000 new homes and mixed-use; securing planning permission for development of Green Belt land for residential and commercial land uses, and securing a series of planning consents for operational uses and residential consent for surplus land at the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh.

David also has experience in progressing planning appeals, planning enforcement, and project management of major mixed-use developments.
