Julian is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 15 years experience both in the UK and Internationally. He leads the Birmingham Land Planning team where they deliver landscape and urban realm design across all sectors as well as strategic master planning, urban design and visioning.
Julian’s diverse portfolio has included challenging projects of varying scales across a variety of sectors including education, commercial, resort, retail, private residential, private estates, sports and leisure. He has expertise in delivering proposals for urban regeneration projects with key experience across the London Boroughs. His key interest lies in the delivery of built landscape projects across a variety of scales.
In recent years Julian has increased the teams urban design capabilities offering landscape led master planning services. He is currently delivering Islington Square a prestigious residential development, Radlett SRFI a 400+ hectare Rail Freight Interchange and Country Park within the Metropolitan Green Belt and is also the Project Landscape Architect for the Birmingham to Edgbaston Midland Metro Tram Line.
Julian is an Ambassador for Landscape and is currently mentoring a candidate through the Landscape Institutes Pathway to Chartership. He is also representing the practice in the Landscape Institutes Apprenticeship Trailblazer Group.
