Laura Meyer

Laura is a Planning Director in the Major Projects team and education lead at GL Hearn. She leads on a variety of projects across the country, including mixed-use, healthcare and education development with projects varying in scale from large scale masterplan regeneration to individual site redevelopments.

Laura is an experienced chartered Town Planner (MRTPI). She specialises in obtaining planning permission for various types of development including mixed-use, healthcare and residential projects (including rooftop developments). One of Laura’s particular areas of expertise is delivering education projects of varying scales, working on behalf of a variety of clients in both the public and private sector.

She has worked on a number of award winning projects and landmark sites across both London and the rest of the UK and is involved in projects from the outset, analysing existing sites, preparing planning applications and obtaining deliverable planning consents. Laura is passionate about identifying ways in which to bring value to projects through planning alongside finding ways to accelerate both the planning and construction programme to ensure projects are delivered in a timely fashion.
