Marina is passionate about nature and design - a create thinker, who likes to see challenges through different perspectives and find solutions in the most unexpected ways.
Marina graduated in Portugal, where she worked for 9 years as a Landscape Architect on public real schemes including historical urban regeneration and public parks. In 2016, she moved to the UK, qualifying as a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) the following year.
in 2020, she received both the World Landscape Architecture (WLA) Award in the Concept Analysis and Planning category and the WLA Award of Excellence with a proposal to the Re-Imagining Garden City International Competition, promoted by RIBA and Letchworth Heritage Foundation.
To Marina, good design is often the simplest in form, but often the most complex to achieve.
In her spare time, you can find Marina sketching and creating abstract designs which she sells as art prints online.
