Myles O’Brien

Myles is a Director and leads the Business Rates High Street team at GL Hearn, having joined form Aitchison Raffety in October 2020 where he was Group Board Director, Head of Business Rates and London Operations.

A business rates specialist, Myles has been involved in property for over 25 years with a proven track record in developing high performing teams and providing strategic business rates advice in both the public and private sectors.

Myles will be dealing with a nationwide brief to lead and coordinate GL Hearn’s national business rates high street team, this combines the traditional high street occupiers together with a focus on other ‘bulk class’ properties such as restaurants, offices and industrial.

Myles is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation (IRRV), an elected committee member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association and a member of the Leisure Property Forum.
