The Group’s proposal was for a change of use to residential and conversion and extension of the Grade II listed Acton Town Hall alongside a four storey new build element.
The site was complex and had a number of key heritage issues such as the potential ‘harm’ associated with a new storey on the existing building.
During the planning process various GL Hearn teams provided advice.
LB Ealing resolved to grant planning permission and Listed Building Consent on 13 May 2015 for a change of use and redevelopment to provide 71 residential units.
