Estate Regeneration

We are an Estate Regeneration team working on housing estate renewal projects and complex regeneration schemes across London and the UK.

Delivering successful housing estate regeneration is a notoriously complex and challenging endeavour and we recognise that no two housing estates are the same. Each scheme faces its own unique set of issues, however they all share an identical goal: to create a viable regeneration scheme that has the support of the local community and local government.

In 2016, the Prime Minister announced a renewed Government commitment to housing estate regeneration and the National Strategy for Estate Regeneration was produced. This important document describes the complex challenge of how to address the problem of substandard housing in a way that secures a better quality of life for existing residents.

Having had a central role in the drafting and publication of the National Strategy, we have responded to this challenge by creating a new Estate Regeneration team to help landowners realise the potential of their housing estates.

Assembled with experts in Planning, Viability, Building Consultancy, Community Engagement, Compulsory Purchase and Public Sector Consultancy, our integrated team has the experience and capacity to support every stage of the regeneration journey.

To this end, the varied services we provide include:

  • Asset Review
  • Economic/Housing Analysis
  • Stock condition surveys
  • Feasibility and densification studies
  • Community engagement
  • Town planning services
  • Affordable housing and tenure mix advice
  • Land assembly and buy back advice
  • Viability and cashflow modelling
  • Soft market testing
  • Neighbourly matters advice
  • Advising on delivery (including appropriate delivery mechanisms)
  • Public sector direct development
  • Procurement and developer selection
  • Development and construction management
  • Share
Carefully planned redevelopment of our housing estates has the potential to give existing residents modern accommodation, provide urgently needed homes of all tenures and create vibrant neighbourhoods, which reflect the needs and connectivity of today’s society.
