Richard Williamson

Richard is our National Head of Rating. He is highly experienced in all aspects of business rates matters and is responsible for account managing some of our largest national contracts within the team.

Richard is experienced in the rating valuation of supermarkets, banks, retail, office and industrial premises including distribution warehouses nationally. He is also has experience of dealing with specialist properties across the public and private sectors including Government and HQ buildings, Bullion/Cash Centres and Hospitals/Health Centres.

He has considerable experience in client managing large national portfolios and overseeing our teams to deliver a “best in class” rates management service to clients. He is able to set-up and co-ordinate our activities in respect of instructions of all sizes and has experience of managing rating instructions for public sector/government departments and for private sector corporates.

He is responsible for heading up our business rates team nationally and overseas our specialist added value services such as Rate Payment Management, Empty Rates Mitigation, S44A relief work, Historic Rates Audits and in respect of our business rates appeals.
