Russell Wiltshire

Russell is a Business Rates Associate Director located within our Cheltenham office, providing advice on rating matters for clients across the South West and Wales occupying distribution warehouses, large shops, retail warehouse and foodstore properties.

Russell has over 18 years’ experience in private practice having joined GL Hearn in 2000 where he commenced negotiations for rating purposes towards the end of the 1995 List and bulk rating through the 2000, 2005 and 2010 Rating Lists. During the 2010 List he co-ordinated many of the South West and South Wales RSA Committees in respect of High Street retail negotiating and subsequently recommending settlements of rating appeals as appropriate.

In recent years he has focused on the assessment of distribution warehouses, retail warehouses, large shops and foodstores in the South West and Wales providing advice and strategies to client in respect of their business rates assessments.

Alongside his non-domestic rates experience he also has experience in landlord and tenant and valuation for asset, portfolio and loan purposes.
